As promise, here are a few shots from the most recent ultrasound in August. The omphalocele is visible in the top profile to the right of the picture. The second is a head profile and the bottom is a hand (I think).
This humble little blog is for family and friends to track the progress of our little Grace born early at 26 weeks with an omphalocele and Beckwith-Wiedemann Syndrome.
I originally named this blog "Born Unto Trouble" after a quote from Job 5:7 that my father continually reminds me of during challenging times: "Man is born unto trouble as the sparks fly upwards." -Job 5:7
We have since renamed it after a poem by James Fenton: For I Was Born To A Kiss And A Smile ..." Also provided by my father, and much more appropriate to express the joy we feel in having Grace in our lives.
