Here is Grace in her Halloween outfit. In case you couldn't figure it out, this is a ladybug costume. I wish I could say Grace was as thrilled about it as she seems in this picture, but....

Formerly "Born Unto Trouble..."

This humble little blog is for family and friends to track the progress of our little Grace born early at 26 weeks with an omphalocele and Beckwith-Wiedemann Syndrome.
I originally named this blog "Born Unto Trouble" after a quote from Job 5:7 that my father continually reminds me of during challenging times: "Man is born unto trouble as the sparks fly upwards." -Job 5:7
We have since renamed it after a poem by James Fenton: For I Was Born To A Kiss And A Smile ..." Also provided by my father, and much more appropriate to express the joy we feel in having Grace in our lives.

What a beautiful picture. Her cheeks are so cute - little apples! Love to you all and so glad to hear everyone is doing well. 1 year already - WOW.
