It was a pleasure to meet all of Thursday night while I was on-call at Riley. I read through your book and it brought back many memories of our time in the NICU with Samuel. I invite you to his caring bridge page at www.caringbridge.org/in/samuelgangweradams. I pray that your journey together as a BWS family will be blessed with continued healing and progress. ~Chaplain Randall (randall.r.adams@gmail.com)
This humble little blog is for family and friends to track the progress of our little Grace born early at 26 weeks with an omphalocele and Beckwith-Wiedemann Syndrome.
I originally named this blog "Born Unto Trouble" after a quote from Job 5:7 that my father continually reminds me of during challenging times: "Man is born unto trouble as the sparks fly upwards." -Job 5:7
We have since renamed it after a poem by James Fenton: For I Was Born To A Kiss And A Smile ..." Also provided by my father, and much more appropriate to express the joy we feel in having Grace in our lives.
Please follow her progress with us. Your comments are welcome and enjoyed. Subscribe to the RSS for easier updating. Mon Sep 08 19:26:00 EDT 2008 |
