Formerly "Born Unto Trouble..."
Welcome
This humble little blog is for family and friends to track the progress of our little Grace born early at 26 weeks with an omphalocele and Beckwith-Wiedemann Syndrome.
I originally named this blog "Born Unto Trouble" after a quote from Job 5:7 that my father continually reminds me of during challenging times: "Man is born unto trouble as the sparks fly upwards." -Job 5:7
We have since renamed it after a poem by James Fenton: For I Was Born To A Kiss And A Smile ..." Also provided by my father, and much more appropriate to express the joy we feel in having Grace in our lives.

Tim, Deb, and Grace,
It was a pleasure to meet all of Thursday night while I was on-call at Riley. I read through your book and it brought back many memories of our time in the NICU with Samuel.
