Today we took our first walk as a family. We loaded up the stroller with gear and Grace and she and Mac strolled around the neighborhood. She did great. No crises, she slept the whole way, and the vent and monitors performed as advertised.
It has been great to have Grace home, and she has really responded to the change in environment. Seemingly overnight she has started to make eye contact, track motion and become more interactive. It is a huge improvement from what she could do in the hospital. Here is where she sleeps in the living room and a picture of her hanging out with her new buddy Mac. Yes, we washed the blanket after Mac plopped down on it.

yeah!! I'm so happy for you guys it looks like it's going great, sorry I didn't get to say bye to you Deb but I did stop in and see Grace and Tim the night before you went home. Mac looks to be adjusting well also! I forgot to get your address before you guys left so I can come visit so shoot me an email (I'm on vaca the rest of April!) brianne_hooper@yahoo.com
Great News! You all (probably Mac included) need some sign of "normalization" after all you have been through.
It was GREAT to see Grace and Tim on Skype last evening. Her Great Grandmother, Grandmother and Great Aunt Sheila were thrilled. Espcially since it was Great G'Ma Margie's 88th Birthday. What a wonderful gift.
Much Love - to you four! G'ma Pam
