We are getting used to having Grace around and she is getting used to us. Here she is showing off her smile. She turns it on when she sees Mom or Dad, but turns it off when she sees the camera. Took a while to get these pictures of her grinning.
Wow...the first picture of Grace looks like she is making a heart with her lips. A true Kodak Moment for sure. You must both be so happy to have her home at last.
I LOVE these pictures. She looks so happy and so do you Deb. The first picture her mouth looks like a heart. Much love and keep posting the photos. Julie Chancellor
This humble little blog is for family and friends to track the progress of our little Grace born early at 26 weeks with an omphalocele and Beckwith-Wiedemann Syndrome.
I originally named this blog "Born Unto Trouble" after a quote from Job 5:7 that my father continually reminds me of during challenging times: "Man is born unto trouble as the sparks fly upwards." -Job 5:7
We have since renamed it after a poem by James Fenton: For I Was Born To A Kiss And A Smile ..." Also provided by my father, and much more appropriate to express the joy we feel in having Grace in our lives.
Please follow her progress with us. Your comments are welcome and enjoyed. Subscribe to the RSS for easier updating. Mon Sep 08 19:26:00 EDT 2008 |

fAbsolutely adorable. I love her shining eyes! You are both to be commended for all the love and care she is getting.

Where is the NG tube?? She is beautiful!
Gracie pulls her NG out almost daily. I took advantage of her sneaky ways to grap some pics without tubes.

I was hoping she was able to get rid of one more tube :-(
