Tomorrow we are taking Grace off vapotherm and she will go on nasal cannula at 1 liter. This is a huge step toward going home. We are going to let her get used to that over the weekend, and next week she will get a second chance at the sleep study. We really want her to do well with the sleep study, because if she does she has a better chance of coming home without a trach.
Gracie gets cuter everyday. When I arrived today she was sitting on Deb's lap facing out and making faces at me. Deb pulls her up gently by her arms and works on her neck strength while she is sitting there. Grace probably wishes we would just let her alone sometimes!
