Our little superstar is doing a fantastic job on nasal cannula. She is tolerating the decrease in ventilatory support extremely well. She gets a sleep study next week, so let us hope that all goes well. We will let her cruise over the weekend and study up for her big test.
Deb and I had a great night out tonight with our friends the Parkers. I think I have mentioned that their little daughter Hope has a heart condition, so we had lots to talk about with a couple in similar circumstances. I think it was good therapy for all of us.
We were all in general agreement though: Life is messy, but love comes from the most unexpected and wonderful places. Yup, that's what we have learned. Why does it take so long to learn that?
